Alfa Laval’s Q3 orders jump 36%, while fourth-quarter demand is expected to ease slightly

Profit before tax came in at SEK 3,050 million. The increase was more modest, as profit in the corresponding period last year was SEK 2,967 million.

Sales increased by 8 percent to SEK 18.6 billion, while order intake rose to SEK 23.2 billion.

In a forecast, the company’s management writes:

"We expect demand in the fourth quarter to be at a slightly lower level than in the third quarter."
