Rayshawn Jenkins‘ tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers ended last week. The veteran safety has already found a new home, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The Baltimore Ravens are signing Jenkins to add some depth to their secondary after a lopsided loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Jesse Minter’s team allowed the Bengals to go for 284 yards through the air, with Tee Higgins racking up 148 yards and a touchdown on six receptions.

Jenkins, who’s 32 and in his 10th NFL season, played in six games for the Steelers, making one start before being pulled in favor of seventh-round rookie Robert Spears-Jennings. Jenkins notched 16 tackles and, according to Pro Football Focus, was targeted five times and give up as many completions for 120 yards, one touchdown and a perfect 158.3 passer rating.
Jenkins is continuing his tour of the AFC North, having played all 17 games for the Cleveland Browns last season, putting up 45 tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, an interception and a pass defended.
With DeShon Elliott back in the fold, Mike McCarthy’s team no longer needed Jenkins. The Steelers still have both regular-season matchups against the Ravens ahead of them.
Baltimore visits Pittsburgh in Week 15, then the Steelers travel to play the Ravens in Week 18.
