Saquon Barkley suffered a hamstring injury during the Philadelphia Eagles’ 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4. He was unavailable for the last two games.
However, there is a major boost for Nick Sirianni’s Eagles ahead of Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles’ X account posted the list of inactive players, and it didn’t include Barkley. This is an upgrade from questionable in Saturday’s update.
Fans were happy to welcome Barkley back to a struggling team. However, despite the positive news, some were not eagerly enthusiastic, especially after distrust stemming from Jalen Hurts’ longtime unavailability due to blood clots.
“I don’t trust the Philadelphia Eagles medical staff anymore!” one fan said.
With Jalen Hurts out indefinitely, Barkley’s return helps nudge the Eagles in the right direction. Hurts was diagnosed with multiple blood clots in his lungs.
