Xiaomi Korea said on the 26th that it has officially launched the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 and the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 Plus in South Korea.
The base model can purify spaces of up to 50 square meters, with a particle clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 443 cubic meters per hour. Its formaldehyde CADR is 218 cubic meters per hour, about 45.3% higher than the previous model.
The purifier uses a five-stage filtration system consisting of a pre-filter, a high-efficiency filter, an activated carbon filter, a UVC module and negative ions. It also features particle-size-specific dust detection, temperature and humidity sensors, and an LCD display showing air quality. Users can remotely control power and operating modes through the Xiaomi Home app. The company said the device removes 99.98% of particles measuring 0.3 micrometers and operates at a noise level of 26.6 decibels.
The Plus model, released alongside it, uses dual impellers and dual filters to cover spaces of up to 91 square meters. Its particle CADR is 810 cubic meters per hour based on measured performance. It also comes with 360-degree swivel wheels for easier movement.
The base model carries a suggested retail price of 269,000 won, discounted to 239,000 won during the promotional period. The Plus model is being sold at 479,000 won, down from 529,000 won. The first 100 customers who buy the products at the NAVER brand store and post photo reviews will receive a Humidifier 2 Lite.
