Florida football will host the Oklahoma Sooners inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 7. The game will kick off at 7:45 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on the SEC Network, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
This will be the first time the two schools will face off as mutual members of the SEC after having met on the collegiate gridiron just twice. The all-time record currently stands split at one win apiece, with both prior games being played on neutral turf.
Oklahoma won the last time they played, 55-20, in the 2020 Cotton Bowl in Arlington, which was at the time one of the New Year's Six slate of postseason games determined by the College Football Playoff selection committee. Florida prevailed in the first meeting between the two programs in the 2009 BCS Championship Game at Dolphin Stadium in Miami, 24-14, to earn its second national title in three years.
This year's showdown in the Swamp will feature the Saluting Those Who Serve Game promotion, in which the UAA honors members of the armed forces, veterans and local first responders.
