From Karol G & Bruno Mars in the "Still" video to Rosalía in her LUX era, check out these simple Halloween costume ideas.
Karol G & Bruno Mars, "Still" Felipe Orvi
Halloween is sneaking up on us, and with the spooky holiday only five days away, Billboard has curated a list of simple, DIY costume ideas for those last-minute shoppers.
This year’s list is inspired by a group of artists who have been all the buzz in 2026, starting with Karol G and Bruno Mars in the music video for “Still,” which is a great costume idea for couples. Another idea for couples this year includes channeling their inner-Paola Jara and Jessi Uribe — Colombia’s power couple who’s making the rounds with their joint Música Popular album, Despecho a 2 Voces. And for two friends, why not dress up as Ryan Castro and Kapo in “La Villa,” which this year is nominated at the 2026 Latin Grammys.
For those riding solo this year, you can dress up as Spanish singer/songwriter and 2026 Billboard Hall of Fame honoree Rosalía during her LUX world tour; there are many incredible outfits to choose from. Same with Aria Vega who’s been turning heads all year long with her unique Costeñita Core movement. You can also dress up as the masked Colombian newcomer, Corridos del Rey, whose viral track “Ayer Hablé Con Dios Remix” alongside Farruko ranked No. 2 on Billboard’s Best Latin Songs of 2026 mid-year list.
The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week also served as inspiration for this year’s Halloween, such as Pitbull’s sleek look during the “Superstar Q&A With Pitbull: Chart History Live” panel.

Aria Vega

What You Need: Ever since going viral with her track “CHÉVERE (premium_remix)” in collaboration with Ryan Castro, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart in September, all eyes have been on Aria Vega. To channel the Barranquilla-born artist’s full-fledge coastal energy (think island girl vibes), you would need to go the extra mile with color and creativity. Think beach outfits and accessories, but make them maximalist, and don’t forget to learn the TikTok dances—almost every Aria song has a trend.
-
Corridos del Rey

What You Need: Colombian artist Corridos del Rey became a household name in 2026 thanks to his breakout hit “Ayer Hablé con Dios,” which has garnered nearly six million video creations on TikTok. Behind its faith-based and motivational lyrics is Corridos—a masked singer, who made his blue carpet debut at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards. For this, you would need a white suit, white gloves, a black tie, and matching back cowboy hat, but most importantly, a bedazzled ski mask.
-
Jessi Uribe & Paola Jara

What You Need: This one is a fun idea for couples: Colombian power couple Jessi Uribe and Paola Jara. To dress as Jessi (during the LMW press conference), you will need white denim jeans, tan cowboy boots and matching belt, as well as a white buttoned-down shirt and sunglasses. To dress as Paola, you would need dark jeans and matching denim top, brown boots and brown tejana hat, as well as a navy blue bandana. The icing on the top if if you can learn one of the songs from their joint album.

Karol G & Bruno Mars

What You Need: The “Still” music video is simple—showing both Karol G and Bruno Mars in two outfit changes: one for the day time and one for the night time. An easy DIY option to tackle is the day time look in the clip, which both artists are rocking as they are doing soundcheck and hanging out backstage ahead of a big concert. To dress as Karol, all you need is a black cami, wide leg jeans, chunky sneakers, light jewelry, and a dirty blonde wig as well as her signature heart tattoo on her arm. To dress as Bruno, wear an oversized jean and top combo, black sunglasses, curly hair and his signature mustache.
-
Pitbull

What You Need: Pitbull took a break from his extensive world tour to stop by the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week. Meanwhile, his sleek outfit during his “Superstar Q&A” conversation with Billboard’s Leila Cobo sets the tone for the perfect Mr. 305 costume. All you need is white dress pants, a navy blue blazer, sunglasses, and most importantly, a bald cap. The Miami slang and motivational phrases are ideal but not required.
-
Rosalía

What You Need: Rosalía has officially wrapped her LUX world tour, but she blessed us with countless of DIY costume ideas. One of her most iconic looks on stage was the ballerina look, which she also rocked during a recent performance on Saturday Night Live. For this, you would need a puffy tutu, a body tight leotard, and ballerina slippers. A messy bun, very light makeup, and learning to speak 16 different languages (as the Spanish crooner did for her album LUX) would be the perfect final touch.

Ryan Castro & Kapo

What You Need: “La Villa”—one of the most viral tracks this year, which was also a finalist at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards and is nominated at the 2026 Latin Grammys—merits its own costume. All you need is a good friend to be the Ryan to your Kapo, and vice versa. To dress as Ryan, all you need is a red robe and sunglasses. To dress as Kapo, you need grey shorts, brown loafers, white socks, a linen white shirt, and a mustard yellow hat. Above that, just bring a lot of fun energy and learn the dance trend to “La Villa.”
