Even if she wasn't cast in such a prominent role in the explosive second season of The Celebrity Traitors, everyone would still be talking about Maya Jama. The Love Island host is an indisputable bombshell who seems to turn heads wherever she goes.
Although she rose to fame while she was dating Stormzy (the first time), Maya has a string of famous exes under her belt – all of whom will no doubt be teased for the rest of their lives for 'fumbling' her.

Who has Maya Jama dated?
Rico Gordon
Maya's first boyfriend Rico Gordon was killed in 2011 after being caught in the crossfire of a gang fight during St Pauls Carnival in Bristol. Two men from rival gangs were jailed for life for the shooting.
At the time, Maya was 16 and Rico was 21. She said the tragedy 'changed everything' and spurred her not to 'let any chance miss me'. The presenter added, 'Losing anyone at a young age is hard, and loss changes your perspective on life. I am not going to let any chance miss me. I am going to do everything in my power to be the best person I can be.'
Stormzy
In 2014, Maya met Stormzy at the Red Bull Culture Clash event in London and interviewed him for MTV. They were friends for a few months before things turned romantic in January 2015.
'If I'm really honest, I knew I fancied him from the start,' Maya admitted. They dated for four years, during which time both their profiles grew enormously and there was frenzied interest in their relationship, before parting ways in 2019.
Stormzy made no secret of the fact he had 'regrets' and learned 'lessons' following their split. In 2022, he reflected, 'I think my break up with Maya was still really heavy on my heart. I'd never experienced a break up and the feelings that come with a break up. And I never wanted to ever be in a position again where I felt what I was feeling.'
In 2023, Maya told The Sunday Times, 'We were so young when we met, just beginning our careers. I don't think either of us knew it was going to be such a big thing.'
Ben Simmons
In 2021, Maya started dating NBA player Ben Simmons and they got engaged at the end of that year. The relationship saw Maya spending a lot more time in the states where she and Ben even shared a dog. However, they broke up in 2022.
Stormzy (again)
In 2023, rumours that Maya and Stormzy were secretly back together started swirling, and they turned out to be true. The pair were spotted on holiday together and the internet went into overdrive and by Christmas the relationship was confirmed. Sadly, the following July, they released a joint statement to confirm that they were over for good.
Ruben Dias
At the start of 2025, Maya was linked to Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias after they were spotted in each other's social media posts. Things became serious quite quickly, with Maya moving to Manchester and the pair reportedly buying a £4 million house in Cheshire together.
They broke up in the spring of 2026. Ruben was forced to deny cheating rumours after they reportedly reached his grandma and Maya touched on the split by saying she is an 'all-or-nothing' person who 'loves loudly'.
Is Maya Jama dating King Kenny or James Acaster?
Even though the internet loves to whip up rumours out of nothing, there is no evidence to suggest she is anything more than friends with either of her fellow Traitors. It is thought that Maya is currently single.
