"I've always been scared of something like this happening in a Catholic Church," she wrote.
"Whenever I see massive crucifixes, heavy statues and other objects mounted high above the altar or suspended from ceilings, I sometimes wonder what would happen if one of them suddenly fell."
She went on to say the incident should prompt a wider conversation rather than just grief and prayers.
While she was careful not to assign blame, given that the cause of the crucifix's fall had not yet been officially established, she argued that the tragedy exposed a gap between spiritual devotion and practical responsibility.
"A crucifix does not become weightless because it represents the Cross of Christ," Annastasia wrote. "Holiness does not cancel the need for safety."
The former nun laid out a series of practical suggestions for church authorities, urging congregations to consider lightweight materials for overhead installations where possible, and to ensure that heavier objects are fitted with proper structural support and inspected regularly by professionals.
She also called for routine safety assessments of church buildings to identify structural weaknesses and loose fittings before they lead to harm.
She closed her post with a prayer for the repose of Father Patricio's soul and urged church leaders everywhere to ask themselves whether the objects installed in their buildings are genuinely safe for the people who gather beneath them.
"May this tragedy remind us that protecting human life is not contrary to faith," she wrote. "It is a responsibility we must take seriously."
What did former nun say about men?
In other news, Kinse sparked online discussions after joking about men who lie convincingly in relationships.
She shared relatable examples of partners denying infidelity and making misleading promises, while advising women to judge people by their behaviour rather than sweet words.
