A high-speed triangle-shaped UFO was spotted over a secret military site in the US.
The sighting of the craft - which is said to have a 15-foot wingspan and a top speed of 1,800 miles per hour - was documented in a report released by the Pentagon on Friday (23.10.26) in the latest unsealing of documents by US President Donald Trump's administration. The report suggests two federal law enforcement agents saw the UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) at a sensitive site in Western America as the name of the location has been redacted from the public copy.
The two anonymous observers are described as having "extensive operational experience working alongside government agencies".
They claimed the craft was "matt black triangular shaped" and was as "fast as a fighter jet" as it climbed to 200-200 feet above the ridge line of a canyon and then entered a "stable hover" for an estimated 20 seconds before shooting off in a horizontal flight.
The observed compared the UFO to a delta-wing drone and claimed it had a wingspan of between nine and 15ft (2.75 to 4.5m) while they are said to have calculated its speed to be around 1,800 miles per hour.
They also suggested the craft was silent as there was "no detectable acoustic signature". The report added: "It did not produce engine roar, rora hum, aerodynamic friction or air displacement sound despite velocities of conventional military fighter aircraft."
The latest release of documents comes after a UFO expert urged the US government to release more details in the reports to reduce public "anxiety".
Jennice Vilhauer, a psychologist who sits on the advisory board of the Disclosure Foundation and is part of US President Donald Trump's Scientific Advisory Council on UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena), welcomes the release of military files relating to unexplained incidents but she wants the government to add more details about each incident to the heavily-redacted films so they can be studied more thoroughly by experts.
In a blog posted on SubStack, Vilhauer wrote: "Although the PURSUE [ Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters] website provides some general context and explains that the materials represent unresolved cases, it provides very little information for understanding individual files or incidents.
"Without that information, there is no real way to tell what is being seen and people are left to come up with their own explanations.
"This kind of situation creates the perfect scenario for misinformation to fill the gaps and existing views to become even more polarized.
"Those who are inclined to believe the objects are signs of non-human intelligence (NHI) will argue that they provide proof, while skeptics will continue to believe there is nothing worth seeing.
"People in the middle are likely to become more confused or simply grow bored and disengage."
