Palli Sanchay Bank has deposited Tk60 crore in dividends declared in favour of the government up to the 2023–24 financial year into the government treasury.
The bank's Chairman Dr AKM Jahangir and Managing Director Salma Banu handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury at the Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday (25 October, 2026), said a press release.
Financial Institutions Division Secretary Nazma Mobarek was present at the handover.
Others present included the bank's Director Nure Alam Talukdar, Deputy Managing Director Md Golam Mortuza, General Managers ABM Zahid Hossain and Md Ala Uddin, Board Secretary and Senior Principal Officer Muhammad Ali, Senior Principal Officer Sukanta Kumar Ghosh, and Public Relations Officer and Senior Officer SM Shaiful Islam.
