According to the Central Police Office, the delivery includes six Zarb-e-Haider APCs and two Dragon-class armoured personnel carriers. These vehicles will support police personnel during operations and emergencies, particularly in areas where security risks require protected transportation.
Hameed said the modern APCs would help ensure the safe movement of police personnel during operations and emergency situations. The vehicles are intended to provide additional protection to officers carrying out duties in challenging field conditions.
The police chief also highlighted the importance of providing medical support to personnel injured while performing their duties. He said the newly supplied ambulances were equipped with necessary medical equipment and facilities to assist injured officers.

According to Hameed, the ambulances would help police teams provide timely first aid to injured personnel and transport them to hospitals. Their availability could support emergency response efforts during field operations and other incidents requiring immediate medical attention.

The eight APCs will support protected movement, while the ten ambulances will strengthen medical assistance for personnel in the field. The supplied information did not specify the individual districts receiving the vehicles or the total cost of the equipment.
