Cardano’s ADA may be struggling to shake off its prolonged bearish slump, but a prominent crypto pundit believes the altcoin is on the cusp of a jaw-dropping comeback.
Popular market watcher Crypto Captain has made a bold prediction that ADA could skyrocket to $4 before 2026 ends, potentially delivering over 1,800% gains from current levels and smashing its record high. With just over two months left in the year, the explosive forecast is raising a tantalizing question: could Cardano be gearing up for one of the biggest rallies in crypto history?
Crypto Captain’s Weekly Chart Signals Potential ADA Breakout Toward $4
Crypto Captain supported his bullish outlook with a weekly chart mapping Cardano’s historical performance and a potential recovery path extending into 2027. The chart captures ADA’s price movements from 2023 through 2026, showing the token trading near $0.2157 after retreating sharply from its January 2025 peak above $1.
A rising trendline drawn across earlier price action suggests a longer-term turnaround. The chart’s projected trajectory suggests ADA could stage a powerful rally, potentially break above its previous all-time high of $3.10, and advance toward the analyst’s ambitious $4 target.
Crypto Captain expects Cardano to reach the $4 milestone before 2026 ends. Yet, with just over two months left in the year, the ambitious forecast raises questions about what could spark such a dramatic rally, especially as ADA continues to struggle amid persistent bearish pressure.
Can ADA Pull Off the Record-Breaking Rally Needed to Hit $4?
Since Crypto Captain published his forecast, ADA has continued to face bearish pressure and recently slipped below $0.21. As of this writing, Cardano was trading at $0.207, leaving investors watching for signs of a potential recovery.
From this level, ADA would need to surge 1,833% to reach the $4 target. Such a rally would propel the token well beyond its current all-time high of around $3.09, setting a new record for the 18th-largest cryptocurrency.
A $4 price would also imply a market capitalization of approximately $147 billion, based on the circulating supply used in the earlier estimate. This highlights the enormous rally Cardano would need to deliver for the commentator’s ambitious forecast to become reality.
