KUALA LUMPUR: Genting Highlands, the Petronas Twin Towers and the city skyline are back in clear view as haze eases across the Klang Valley.
Residents have taken to X to share photos of blue skies and clearer horizons, with many saying it was the first time in weeks they could see the city clearly.
"Do not adjust your screens, ladies and gents. The sky is indeed clear in KL this morning," wrote X user @1Obefiend, sharing photos of blue skies and distant hills.

"The AQI is around 50 instead of the usual 180. I can finally see colours at a distance for the first time in two months," the user added.
X user @VimanFotography shared night shots of the illuminated city skyline, including the Petronas Twin Towers.
"KL hasn't looked so 'colourful' in a long time. Everything is Ultra HD tonight!" the user wrote.

Another user, @craigansibin, posted images of the capital with mountains visible in the background.
"Kuala Lumpur, look at you," the user wrote.
"Genting Highlands visible in the distance. TRX and the Petronas Twin Towers standing crystal clear. Blue skies, crisp air, and an AQI of just 11."
For some, the improvement was noticeable indoors, too.
"For the first time in weeks, my air purifier indicator remains blue instead of the constant red due to haze," wrote X user @periperipiri.
