Break-in by men wearing balaclavas at 2am in department store on A9
Two men in balaclavas have stolen alcohol worth a five-figure sum from a department store on the A9.
Police said the break-in at House of Bruar near Blair Atholl in Perth and Kinross happened at about 2am on Tuesday.
Officers are appealing for information about the incident.
Police said both men were wearing black balaclavas and gloves.
The first suspect was wearing a black jacket, blue denim jeans and white shoes while the second was dressed in black trousers, a white jumper and hiking-style boots.
Detective Constable Mark Chance said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time and has any information to come forward and speak to officers.
“We are also particularly keen to speak to anyone who was driving in the area around 2.05am as from inquiries carried out so far, this is when the suspects are believed to have left the scene.
“If you have dash-cam footage from the area around that time, we’d ask you to review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0234 of October 27 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
