History is on the line in St. Petersburg.
The Milwaukee Brewers are one win away from a franchise-first World Series title and have the chance to win it all in tonight’s Game 4 against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Last night, a record 8-run inning contributed to a 10-1 final score as the Brewers moved to 3-0 on the series.

Stats are on the Brewers’ side, too; in all best-of-seven postseason series, teams with a 3-0 lead have gone on to win the series 42 of 43 times. One of those 42 times was just one series ago when the Brewers swept the Dodgers to win the NLCS.
After their sweep of the Dodgers, the Brewers can become the first team in MLB history to sweep a seven-game LCS and the World Series in the same year (before the LCS switched to seven games, the 1976 Reds were the only team to achieve this).
The team could also break a four-way tie for the most consecutive postseason wins (with the 2019 Nationals, 2014 Royals, 2005 White Sox and 2004 Red Sox). They’re currently at eight, going for a ninth.
