By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police have formally arrested and charged 40-year-old Joel Fuentes of Camalote Village, Cayo District, following the discovery of 4.5 grams of crack cocaine during a search of his residence.
According to ASP Stacy Smith, officers attached to the GI3 unit executed a search warrant at Fuentes’ home on Monday, October 19, 2026.
During the search, officers reportedly discovered a transparent plastic bag containing 4.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
Fuentes was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
