Finally, it’s time to return to our favourite (fictional) Liverpudlian drug lords – This City Is Ours season two is here! After spending season one hooked and horrified by the actions of the Phelan family and their associates, the BBC has graced us with a new season to get equally addicted to.
The twisty drama follows the intense power struggle between the Phelan and Kavanagh families for their drug empire. In season two, Michael and his wife Diana are forced to give up hopes of having a new life in Spain and must come back to Liverpool. As Michael re-enters the gritty underbelly of the city’s drug scene, he encounters old rivals – and fresh threats. Eeeek, we’re already on the edge of our seats.
