The post, shared on X (formerly Twitter) under the hashtag #ChamaChaSifuna, was tied to Edwin Sifuna's presidential campaign for 2027 and offered no indication of what the event would entail.
What Abigael Gikonyo said
Party PR and communications strategist Abigael Gikonyo added a hint of her own, writing: "Baba's day was Tueeesdaaaay! H.E Edwin Sifuna's day is Fridaaaaay! Password ni membership number!"
The reference to a membership number as a "password" suggested the Friday event may be exclusive to registered party members.
The LMM had previously announced intentions to officially launch the movement following a rebrand from its earlier identity as The Equitable Party, leading several supporters to connect Friday's mystery event to that long-anticipated occasion.
