How much do you know about nature's small wonders? Try our insect quiz

The ABC will crown its third Australian Insect of the Year in 2026 and you get to help choose our winner.

But how much do you really know about Australia's native bugs, beetles, bees and butterflies?

Test your knowledge with our insect quiz, produced in conjunction with the CSIRO.

Then check out our six ABC Australian Insect of the Year finalists, and vote for your favourite until the end of October.
