PETALING JAYA: Nestlé Malaysia maintained its positive trajectory in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2026 (Q3’26), recording a turnover of RM1.86 billion, up by 5.3% from the corresponding quarter of 2025.
Growth was led by resilient domestic demand in key product categories, supported by continued innovation and effective commercial execution, while demand for the company’s halal made-in-Malaysia products remained consistent across export markets.
For Q3’26, profit before tax (PBT) increased to RM263.1 million, while profit after tax (PAT) rose to RM197.5 million.
Nestle said the improvement was attributable to higher sales, some softening in commodity costs and continued focus on operational efficiencies and digitalisation initiatives.
During the quarter, the company added it continued to invest in its core brands through innovation, brand-building and strong marketplace execution, reinforcing their relevance to consumers across multiple consumption occasions.
This included the latest edition of Nestlé’s flagship Gaji Seumur Hidup campaign, which brought together brands across the company’s portfolio and further strengthened engagement with Malaysians.
For the first nine months ended Sept 30, 2026, turnover increased by 6.7% to RM5.55 billion, driven primarily by stronger domestic sales. PBT and PAT grew to RM740.7 million and RM557.6 million respectively.
Nestle said the year-to-date performance reflects its ability to balance growth with financial discipline, while sustaining investment in its brands and reinforcing the competitiveness of its operations.
In line with the company’s commitment to delivering sustainable shareholder returns, the board of directors declared a second interim dividend of RM0.80 per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026.
CEO Juan Aranols said, “Our performance for the first nine months reflects the resilience of consumer demand for our trusted brands and the disciplined and high-quality work across all our teams. While consumers remain discerning, we continue to focus on delivering quality, nutrition, convenience and value, supported by innovation and sustained investment in our brands and operations.”
“With our deeply rooted manufacturing footprint and 100% halal-certified products that are made in Malaysia, by Malaysians, for Malaysians, we are deeply connected to the consumers and communities we serve. This solid foundation is central to how we grow our business and create value over the long term.”
As part of its creating shared value approach, Nestlé Malaysia continues to leverage its scale, expertise and partnerships to create positive impact beyond its business operations. By supporting farmers through its Farmer Connect programmes, strengthening local sourcing, advancing circularity and environmental stewardship, and investing in the well-being of communities, the company is helping to build a more resilient food system and a more sustainable future while creating long-term value for individuals, communities and the planet.
Aranols said, “We reconfirm a solid outlook for the full year 2026. Moving into the fourth quarter, which will have a high comparative base against a very strong period in 2025, our focus is on sustaining growth by staying closely attuned to evolving consumer needs and preferences, sharpening execution across channels and expanding the reach of our brands across consumption occasions.”
While the operating environment remains dynamic, investments in digitalisation, automation and productivity will help them operate more efficiently and respond with greater speed and agility, he added.
“With our local manufacturing capabilities, broad distribution network and our committed teams, these efforts will further reinforce our competitiveness and position us for sustainable growth over the long term,” said Aranols.
