The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has opened the objection window for the provisional examination centres selected for the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. Students, parents, and school authorities who have concerns regarding the allotted centres can submit their representations online through the board’s official website, upmsp.edu.in, until October 28, 2026. The board has advised applicants to provide valid reasons and relevant supporting documents while raising objections, as submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.
According to a notification issued by UPMSP Secretary Bhagwati Singh, the provisional list of examination centres for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh board examinations has been made available on the official portal. The list will be reviewed by the district-level committee headed by the respective District Magistrate before the final examination centres are approved. The objection process is intended to allow students, parents and school managements to raise concerns about the provisional arrangements before the board finalises the centres for the upcoming examinations.
As reported by the media, UPMSP has provisionally identified 7,526 examination centres for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled for 2027. The shortlisted institutions comprise 862 government schools, 3,276 government-aided schools and 3,388 unaided private schools.
The examination centres were identified through an online selection procedure based on school-related information verified and updated by the Tehsil Level Committee. Along with the list of shortlisted institutions, the provisional notification also contains details of student allocations to the respective schools. The district-level authorities will examine the list and consider the representations received before the examination centres are finalised.
Students, parents, school principals and school managers who wish to challenge a centre selection can submit their objections online through the UPMSP portal. Representations must be addressed to the District Centre Determination Committee and submitted in the prescribed format. Applicants are required to clearly explain the reasons for their objections and attach appropriate supporting evidence to substantiate their claims. The board has specified October 28, 2026, as the last date for submitting representations and has clarified that objections received after this date will not be entertained.
Following the submission of objections, the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) will examine the representations and communicate the decisions within the stipulated timeframe. The district-level committee will subsequently review the matter and prepare the approved or recommended list of examination centres, along with its report. The district authorities must submit these details to UPMSP through the online system by November 6, 2026, for further action.
