Jules Kounde has called for unity at Barcelona after the club suffered consecutive defeats against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, with the French defender potentially set to return against Alaves this Saturday.
The Barcelona right-back missed both matches through injury but could provide a timely boost for Hansi Flick as the team looks to recover from a difficult week.
Barcelona’s 11-match winning streak came to an end following the defeat in Paris and Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou.
With the team facing an important response, Kounde joined his teammates in sending a message of encouragement to supporters.

Kounde addressed Barcelona fans through his Instagram Stories on Monday, acknowledging the difficult run of results while insisting the squad would respond together.
“A difficult week. A time to stick together. Culés, now more than ever. There’s no doubt we’ll come out stronger,” wrote the French defender in Catalan.
The message came after Barcelona’s impressive winning run was halted by defeats against PSG and Real Madrid.
The consecutive setbacks are a difficult moment for Flick’s side, but Kounde’s comments show the importance of maintaining confidence and togetherness as the campaign continues.

Kounde missed the matches against PSG and Real Madrid because of injury, but his recovery could allow him to return for Barcelona’s next La Liga fixture against Alaves on Saturday.
His potential comeback would be particularly significant given Barcelona’s defensive problems.
Eric Garcia is also injured, while Xavi Espart was ruled out for seven weeks on Monday after failing to complete the Clasico.
Those absences leave Flick with fewer natural options at right-back, increasing the likelihood that Kounde could return directly to the starting line-up if he is declared fit.
