A London-based startup aiming to make business data accessible to more employees through AI has raised $5m in funding as it launches in the market. Querio has raised the funding from investors including BMW i Ventures, Haatch, Arāya Ventures, Forum Ventures and Secways.
The startup, founded in 2024, is addressing the challenge businesses are facing of keeping answers consistent across tools as employees turn to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT for business questions. The increased use of AI means that employees are getting conflicting answers, and data teams spend their time reconciling them instead of doing new work, the startup says.
Querio gives data teams one place to scrutinise the data in an accessible form, with the startup's AI agents spotting inconsistencies, updating definitions and reports to ensure consistency. Rami Abi Habib, co-founder and CEO of Querio, said: “For thirty years, analytics tools have kept a company’s logic inside the vendor’s product, where it’s hard to move and hard for AI to work with.
"Now everyone is asking data questions in Claude, Slack and wherever else they work, and they get three different revenue numbers. We built Querio so the data team owns that logic, and every AI tool in the company answers from it.”
He added: “Say sales renames a field in the CRM. The revenue dashboard breaks, the Slack bot says no deals closed last week, and Claude gives a third number. With Querio, the agent spots the change, fixes everything that depends on it and sends the data team one update to approve. After that, every tool gives the same answer.” The funds will be used to invest in Querio’s tech.
