The final week of The Celebrity Traitors series 2 is here! If, like the rest of the nation, you’re wondering what time the all-important final is on, we’ve got the answer. We also couldn’t help but notice that we’re in for a "movie-length" episode (it’s a whopping 80 minutes long), so we’ve done some investigating and we’re here to tell you why.
Yes, we’ve already had plenty of shock revelations – thank you Richard E. Grant. We’ve also had newfound friendships (Miranda Hart and well, pretty much everyone) but what we haven’t had is nearly enough drama. Fortunately, it seems that’s exactly what we’re about to get from what might well be an all-Traitor final. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Celebrity Traitors final, including what time it's on and why it's so long.

Why is the The Celebrity Traitors final so long?
Now, for the most important question, why are we about to get the longest episode in Traitors history? We’ve put our investigative skills to work and we have a few theories…
The intervention

Frankly, if you haven’t yet heard about James Acaster’s supposed ‘episode’ in the castle, where have you been? Here’s a recap anyway: according to various source, including The Sun, James - now a Traitor - became so anxious during filming that producers had to step in and stop filming. The Sun’s source allegedly said: “The show is incredibly intense and during one particular scene at the castle, James became very anxious and panicked. Some of the other celebrities on the show spoke up and said cameras should stop rolling so he could calm down, and production were in agreement as well.”
Eight episodes in and no such thing has happened – unless, of course, neither the ‘before’ or ‘after’ of the events made it to air, which we think is highly unlikely. We have, however, seen James become increasingly anxious and, given the final is when things start to get really intense – and one wrong move can quite literally see everything the Traitors have worked so hard for come crashing down – we can’t help but think this is when the moment will occur. And if it does, then of course we’d need an extra 20 minutes of viewing time to take it all in.
An all-Traitor final

Now, you might also have heard about a supposed recruitment spree. We have indeed seen our fair share of recruitments, but we’d hardly call it a spree, which means, you guessed it, more Traitors incoming. There’s also been talk of a “game-breaking” event and some fans believe it will take the form of an all-Traitor final. Hear us out.
It wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened as this very event took place in series 2 of the Australian version. And given we’re heading into the penultimate episode with 3 Traitors out of 10 players and there’s theoretically, 2 banishments and 2 murders in store, an all-Traitors final is quite possible. Maya Jama, James Acaster and King Kenny might have just played the easiest game of Traitors in history!
The Secret Traitor

Traitors fans will remember Fiona Hughes, the 60-something government officer from Swansea who was the 'Secret Traitor' in the civilian version of the show earlier this year. Ever since that series ended, rumours were rife that we’d see another Secret Traitor in the celebrity version. Have we? No. But will we? Quite possibly.
In fact, some eagle-eyed viewers think they’ve already spotted her. Anyone notice how Joanne McNalley made a comment suggesting she’d experienced the hide and seek task ("it was horrible," she said) even though she supposedly wasn’t involved in it. Or how she never votes or suspects the other Traitors? Or how she’s always in the right place at the right time? “Has she been made a Traitor and we the audience don’t know yet?” one viewer asked. Quite possibly – and what a final that would make it if it’s true.
