The Jerusalem Post is bringing you live election coverage from 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, as Israel awaits the first indications of how the country has voted and what the results could mean for the next government.
Our team is bringing you live analysis and discussion ahead of the release of the exit polls at 10 p.m., when Israel’s major broadcasters publish their initial projections for the distribution of seats in the next Knesset. The projections will offer an early indication of how Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc and the opposition bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot have performed, and what coalition possibilities could emerge.
The performance of smaller parties, particularly those near the electoral threshold, could prove significant in determining whether either political bloc can secure the support needed to form a government.
Exit polls are projections rather than official results, and the political picture may change as votes are counted and verified throughout the night. The Post will continue to bring you real-time coverage of the results and their implications for Israel’s political future.
Watch the live broadcast above for the latest projections, reactions, and what the results could mean for the next government.
