The top five girls soccer teams remain the same in week 7 of the GametimeCT power rankings as we start the league tournaments.
St. Joseph having a scoreless tie with Fairfield Ludlowe was a surprise, but not enough to knock them from No. 1. St. Joseph, which also tied Ridgefield this year, has yet to lose a game and is the top seed in the FCIAC tournament, which begins Tuesday. No. 2 Greenwich and No. 3 Ridgefield also host FCIAC quarterfinal-round games Tuesday.
No. 4 Simsbury and No. 5 Glastonbury could be on a collision course to meet in the CCC tournament final next week.
Notre Dame Prep moved up to No. 6 this week and goes into the SWC tournament unbeaten. Hall gutted out 1-0 wins against Lewis Mills and Northwest Catholic and moved up to No. 7. Amity and Trumbull come into the postseason No. 8 and 9, respectively, while undefeated East Hampton remains at No. 10.
