Key Points
- Fed week draws attention to crypto, and new meme coins and presales are promoted hardest when attention is high. It is a good week to check projects, not to chase them.
- MemeToro ($MT) is an open-source AI memecoin launchpad on BNB Chain built around verification: an audited token contract, 2% team allocation, open code, a public testnet round and an escrow-and-exit-window design.
- It is early-stage: the launch contracts are not yet audited, the AI agent page is coming soon and the team is pseudonymous.
- Five checks (audits, supply, team, product, exit terms) work on any new meme coin and are applied to MemeToro below.
This week’s Federal Reserve meeting puts crypto in the spotlight, and it is also when new meme coins and presales get the most promotion. We don’t predict what the Fed will do or how markets will react. If attention is going to be high, it is the right week to look at projects that are built to be checked, and MemeToro ($MT), an open-source AI memecoin launchpad on BNB Chain, is one.
Below: why MemeToro is worth a closer look this week, what is still unfinished, and then five checks you can run on any new meme coin, with MemeToro applied as the example.
Why check MemeToro in Fed week?
Fed week tends to bring attention, and attention is what meme coins run on. Most new coins lean on the noise. MemeToro ($MT) leans on what can be verified: its code is public under an MIT license, its token contract has been audited, its team allocation is small and part of the product can be tested today.
- Audited token: The $MT token contract has been audited by Coinsult, SolidProof and BlockSAFU.
- Low team allocation: 71% of the 1.2 billion supply goes to the public sale and 2% to the team (memetoro.com/tokenomics).
- Open code: public under an MIT license, with an open development log.
- Testable: a BNB testnet round using valueless tBNB is open now.
- Escrow and exit window: contributor funds are designed to sit in an escrow contract, rounds are fixed-rate and finalization is blocked while contributors can still withdraw.
- An AI agent that can say no: it scans social media, communities and news for narratives, proposes a memecoin concept and publishes its reasoning, and publishes nothing when it finds no suitable idea.
What is MemeToro, and where is the presale?
MemeToro ($MT) is an open-source AI memecoin launchpad on BNB Chain. The agent proposes and public smart contracts execute: neither the agent nor a team wallet is designed to hold the funds. The $MT presale is at Stage 9 at $0.00649 per token [refresh on publish day]; when a stage reaches its target, the next one opens at a higher price. What is still unfinished
- The AI agent page is marked coming soon.
- Per the project’s own README, the launch contracts are not yet implemented, audited or production-ready, and the testnet executor is a mock.
- The team is pseudonymous, so trust rests on open code and delivered milestones.
Saying so plainly is part of the pitch. It also leads into the five checks below, which apply to MemeToro as much as to anything else.
The 5 checks before you touch any new meme coin
Check 1: Audit reports you can open
A logo is not an audit. Open the report and confirm the audited contract address matches the one being sold.
MemeToro ($MT): The $MT token contract has been audited by Coinsult, SolidProof and BlockSAFU. The launch contracts are not yet audited.
Check 2: Supply split
Look at what share goes to the public, the team and insiders. Large team or insider shares raise sell-pressure risk.
MemeToro: 71% to the public sale and 2% to the team.
Check 3: Team and accountability
Named teams can be checked. Pseudonymous teams are not automatically scams, but they need stronger proof in public code and delivery history.
MemeToro: the team is pseudonymous; the code is public and the development log is open.
Check 4: A product you can test
A whitepaper is not a product. Look for a live app, a testnet or open code you can run.
MemeToro: a BNB testnet round is open. The AI agent page is marked coming soon, and the launch executor on testnet is a mock.
Check 5: Custody and exit terms
Know who can move the funds and what happens if a launch is delayed. Be wary of guaranteed returns, countdown pressure and price targets.
MemeToro: funds are designed to sit in escrow, rounds are fixed-rate and an exit window blocks finalization while contributors can still withdraw.
