A few weeks ago, Ryan Garcia opened up and called out boxing legend Floyd Mayweather for a return fight against him. The veteran Mayweather recently made headlines for his rumored financial troubles. Garcia opened up about fighting him and bringing an end to those troubles.
Mayweather, 49, retired from professional boxing in 2017 following a win over Conor McGregor but has kept participating in exhibition matches. According to Garcia’s statements on social media, Mayweather has agreed to fight him in a non-exhibition match, which possibly means that Mayweather’s 50-0 streak would be on the line.
Now with Halloween around the corner, Garcia teased a potential fight between the two by bringing Stanley Kubrick into the mix. Sharing a video inspired by Kubrick’s The Shining, Garcia is shown slashing open a wooden door, while a scared Mayweather is seen sitting inside the room. However, while people found the video funny, several others pointed out the difference between Garcia’s and Mayweather’s physical conditions.

“Trying fight a retired guy that’s well past his prime is giving real jake Paul vibes come on Ryan,” wrote one comment. While another person wrote, “He is over 40 years old and you are asking him to fight while you are in your best condition?” “He know Floyd not bout to fight him, good promo for both of them though,” wrote another person.
Garcia, 26-2 in professional boxing and fresh off his victory against Conor Benn, is now interested in fighting boxing’s undefeated legend, Floyd Mayweather, who boasts a 50-0 in his professional career.
