Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning told ESPN reporter Holly Rowe he wants to see her at more of Texas’ games.
After the team’s 34-27 win over Ole Miss on Saturday, Oct. 24, Rowe met Manning on the field for a postgame interview, where she asked him what he did to “respond so well” to the pressure head coach Steve Sarkisian put on him this week.
After telling her the Longhorns were determined to do “whatever it takes” to win, the quarterback added to Rowe, “I think you need to start doing our games more. We’re 3-0 with you this year.”
“Hey, we’ll take it,” Rowe replied.

Rowe was on hand as the Longhorns beat the No. 1 Ohio State 24-23 in Week 2, when Texas defeated Tennessee in Week 4, and a third time during their win on Saturday.
The exchange came just over one month after Manning apologized to Rowe for laughing at an AI-generated video of her being slapped by Sarkisian, who notably snubbed Rowe for a postgame interview in September.
After facing backlash, Manning issued a lengthy apology, saying he “made an insensitive comment” and added, “There is nothing funny about it. It’s easy to say I didn’t mean it, but I know my words and actions were hurtful to a lot of people. I do not take that lightly and am deeply sorry for that.”
Manning specifically apologized to Rowe “for what she has personally had to deal with because of my comments” and said he has “a ton of respect for her and appreciate her showing me grace in this moment.”
The quarterback promised to “do better” and “be more thoughtful going forward.”
Manning and the Longhorns next face Mississippi State on Saturday.
