"Women love this man": SA dusted by Cyril Ramaphosa and a pensioner's flirty banter

• A clip of President Cyril Ramaphosa chatting with an elderly woman went viral on TikTok on 26 October 2026
• After Ramaphosa joked about his own age and claimed he was two years younger than her, the gogo wasted no time shooting her shot at the president
• South Africans were in stitches over the gogo's boldness, though some questioned who Ramaphosa chooses to engage with

President Cyril Ramaphosa found himself in an unexpectedly hilarious situation when a sharp-witted elderly woman left him and a room full of people in tears of laughter. TikTok user @mohaudaniels posted the clip on 26 October 2026, showing Ramaphosa seated beside the gogo on a couch, the two deep in friendly conversation.

The gogo shoots her shot

The president, clearly in a playful mood, turned to the elderly woman and asked if he looked like he was 50 years old. Visibly delighted, she asked if he was being serious. Ramaphosa then doubled down, teasing that he was actually two years younger than her.

That was all she needed. Without missing a beat, the gogo looked at him and asked, "So, re etsa jwang (So, what are we doing now)?" The quick-witted pitch sent the president, the gogo herself, and everyone in the room into fits of uncontrollable laughter. The clip captured something many South Africans rarely see from their head of state: a completely unguarded, warm moment that reminded the country their president is also human. The gogo, however, remains the undisputed star of the show.
