There is some good news on the injury front for one of Seattle's key weapons.
Via Gregg Bell of 93.3 KJR, head coach Mike Macdonald said in an interview with the radio station on Monday that the “early returns are positive” on receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed’s knee.
Shaheed had to exit Sunday’s win after the first half with the injury.
Shaheed is averaging 11.5 yards per punt return and 27.3 yards per kick return so far this season.
He’s also caught 16 passes for 163 yards and taken four carries for 39 yards with a touchdown.
Seattle does have an extra day to prepare, as the club will face the Bears on Monday night in Week 8.
