A busy Sunday around the NFL in Week 7 wrapped up with a dominant performance by the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Seattle was able to completely shut down Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense, en route to a 20-3 win.
Kansas City’s offense produced just three points and 213 total yards, the fewest from a Mahomes-led offense since 2021, but the real insult came after the final whistle.
The Seahawks social media team did their big one and brilliantly trolled Taylor Swift and her husband, Travis Kelce, with a post that has multiple layers.
Seattle tweeted out a pair of friendship bracelets, which Swifties are known for creating and trading, that read “Seahawks win.” There is even more lore behind the message, however, that takes it all to another level.

Before Kelce and Swift were married, Kelce attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it. That didn’t go too well at the time, but three years later they are married, so the end result was a win for the Chiefs tight end.
There is also the message sent out with the photos which reads, “End Game.” That is the name of a track from Swift’s wildly popular 2017 album, “reputation.”

Well played, Seattle. While it was all fun and games, some of the Swifties weren’t playing around about their girl and came running to her defense in the comments section after taking things very personally. “This post is not the flex you think it is,” one fan wrote. “It’s disrespectful and childish. Do better.”
Another added, “Corny as hell to bring a players wife into a game she didn’t play in or even attend. Bunch of bums running your social media I see.” Their replies didn’t go the way they anticipated.
But, ultimately, the Seahawks scored a big win on the field and on social media, because we live in the age of trolling and this is the kind of pettiness that makes everything fun.
