A crowd gathered in front of the Informer studio building banging on the glass doors and shouting while owner Dragan J. Vucicevic sat in the studio with several of his anchors and journalists, appealing for the police to intervene. At one point he phoned the police and was put on hold to wait for the next available operator.
He even called Student List lead candidate Ilija Srdanovic who hung up on him after saying that he did not believe a word after all the lies that came out of Informer.
About 20 members of the crowd broke into the studio, confronting Vucicevic and his staff for several minutes before he was led out by his associates. The crowd talked and shouted at him but he just stood there without responding.
The police arrived and escorted the protesters out.
Informer TV and tabloid has made a large number of derogatory comments about opponents of the Vucic regime, including the student movement who they called Ustashe (the name of WW 2 Croatian fascists who killed thousands of Serbs).
