It was a rough go for kickers in Week 7 as only eight players were able to reach double-digit fantasy points. As we head into Week 8, we have four teams on bye with the Niners, Giants, Saints and Texans out of action. That may leave you looking for a streaming option off the waiver wire. Here are some options from Justin Boone based on his weekly column.
Player | Next Up | Rostered |
Evan McPherson | vs. TEN | 49% |
Tyler Bass | vs. BAL | 16% |
Cairo Santos | at SEA | 44% |
Drew Stevens | vs. PHI | 1% |
Andy Borregales | at MIA | 6% |
McPherson vs. Titans: You wonder what could have been had the Bengals not taken the first half off in Week 7 against the Ravens. Cincy's offense is lethal and should be in the red zone plenty on Sunday against Tennessee, which is allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to kickers this season.
Bass vs. Ravens: Buffalo is coming off its bye at home in a game with the second-highest implied point total of Week 8 at 53.5. Bass entered the bye with 30 combined fantasy points in the past two games.
Santos at Seahawks: The Bears head to Seattle for a tough MNF matchup against the defending champs. Santos has at least nine fantasy points in five of seven games this season. Chicago could have more stalled drives going up against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
