Italian singer Gala, whose hit Freed from Desire became an anthem of the student protests in Serbia, congratulated the Student List on its victory in Sunday's parliamentary elections.
"Serbia is an example to the whole world of how people who unite can fight for truth, beauty and justice," Gala said in a video message shared by the EXIT festival alongside students from several Serbian universities.
Gala performed the song at last year's EXIT festival where she also called on Serbians to stand up for their rights.
