Knicks PG Jalen Brunson Reveals Message to Team After 0-3 Start

Just a few months removed from the team's first NBA championship title in 53 years, the New York Knicks are 0-3 to begin the 2026-27 NBA season.

The Knicks began their regular-season campaign with losses to the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics. And on Sunday, they continued their losing streak with a defeat at the hands of the Orlando Magic.

When speaking to reporters after Sunday's loss to the Magic, reigning NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson was asked what he's telling the team after their winless start.

"Find whatever it takes to win. Control what you can control. Focus on the little details. They may seem small, but they can impact winning," Brunson said. "Most importantly, stick together. ... We're going to see who we are through the first couple weeks of the season. We're hitting adversity and now we've got to respond."

Brunson and the Knicks now turn their attention toward an Eastern Conference matchup against the Detroit Pistons, who are 3-0 to open up their 2026-27 campaign.

Tuesday's Pistons-Knicks matchup will tip off at 8 p.m. ET from New York's Madison Square Garden.
