In a rematch of the 2024 National Championship game, UConn will host Purdue on Tuesday night at PeoplesBanks Arena in Hartford to close out its preseason slate.
Star shooting guard Braylon Mullins will make his season debut after missing UConn's first two exhibition games — wins over Syracuse and Michigan State — with an undisclosed injury. UConn coach Dan Hurley said that the sophomore will be on a minutes restriction.
Purdue is also undefeated in its two exhibition games, having beaten Ball State and Purdue-Fort Wayne.

Mullins will make his return
05:05 PM ET, October 27 2026Star shooting guard Braylon Mullins is set to make his return to the floor tonight. Coach Dan Hurley said he will be on a minutes restriction, but his presence will be big boost to UConn's rotation.
“It’s another weapon,” point guard Silas Demary said after practice on Monday. “We know how much firepower he has on the offense end, and we know how much of a microwave scorer he can be. He can go on runs by himself. He can hit big-time shots in big-time moments. Just to have my backcourt mate back in the backcourt with me, it’s great to see him out there and I’m expecting it to be a lot of fun.”
