What makes the dream morning after a big night out? A soundbath? LED face mask? Cooling eye patches? Now, imagine all of them simultaneously. On Friday, throngs of Berlin’s party girls flocked to House of Healing Charlottenburg for a very special club—one that opened at 9am. At Shark Beauty’s Morning After Club, guests including DJ Stella Bossi and actress Valentina Pahde enjoyed a perfect recovery sesh for the night before, featuring a little TLC, LED, and sound therapy. A detox before the retox, if you will.

Kleiner Freitag, aka Little Friday, aka Thursday, is big in Berlin. Festivities began on Thursday evening with dinner at GRACE restaurant and a girls’ night at speakeasy Bar Tausend. A few hours after wind-down and post-sunrise, the Morning After Club opened its doors, and the dress code was strictly comfy—everyone rolled up in sweats and leggings, and in the case of Stella, Marine Serre moon-print and UGG’s ridiculously fluffy Momma slippers (sunglasses on). The group donned matching Morning After Club hoodies, which lended a cozy sleepover-like ambiance.
After the shenanigans of the night before, everyone was feeling a bit fragile. Luckily, the club had curated an autumnal menu of medicinal caffeinated drinks, from pumpkin spice to maple cloud latte and vanilla matcha. Breakfast options ranged from spiced apple chia pudding to cheese toastie, covering a range of approaches to the hangover cure.
Over coffee, Stella and Valentina talked us through their morning after routines. For Stella, the perfect morning starts the night before. “Since I was a teenager, I’ve never gone to bed wearing makeup. And I always brush my teeth! I’ve used LED masks for four years—but Shark’s cooling one is something new. I like using it first thing to depuff. And water, water, water!” And how does an actress get herself together in the morning? “Every day while I’m preparing my first coffee, I’m in Shark’s CryoGlow mask,” Valentina Pahde shared. “I’ve been using it for months, and I really see a difference. The week before my period I usually break out, and now it doesn’t happen.”
After everyone was fed and matcha’d, we entered a studio with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Spree. The session began with a quick blast of Shark Beauty’s CryoGlow mask with eyecooling technology, the only LED mask on the market to offer this soothing feature. After the six-minute program, everyone felt calmed and ready for the part we had all been waiting for: to lie down and indulge in a soundbath. What happens when a bunch of hungover girls listen to crystal singing bowls while laying under blankets? Luckily everyone was far too elegant to snore.
For the hardcore fitness girlies, the morning wrapped up with a lunchtime cold plunge. For the rest of us, it was time to grab a mask and head on out, more relaxed, less puffy, and ready for the weekend—to do it all over again. With the Shark Beauty CryoGlow LED Mask on hand, bouncing back has never been easier.
