A child has died after being hit by a car in a Maida Vale driveway over the weekend.
Police confirmed the incident occurred in Perth’s east at 7.50am on Sunday when the child, reportedly two-years-old, was hit by a car on a driveway.
Authorities said the child suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the impact and was rushed to hospital, where they were declared deceased a shortly after.
Police are continuing investigations into the incident and will prepare a report for the coroner.
