After winning the Premier League title last season, Arsenal had several players nominated for the main Ballon d’Or award, but none of them came close to winning it. The award went to a player Arsenal released as a youngster: Harry Kane, but there was still success for the Gunners as Bukayo Saka was given an award for his humanitarian efforts off the pitch.
The attacker has been one of the best players on the Arsenal team, but off the pitch, he has also been superb as he has done his best to help social causes. Arsenal Media reports that he was given the Socrates Award for his efforts to help socially, as he and his family have been very generous in supporting social causes, including long-term projects with Big Shoe, providing medical care and humanitarian aid for children and families in need in London and around the world.
Saka’s Humanitarian Recognition
The award was first given in 2022 to Sadio Mane and this year, Saka was handed it as he shows that he is more than a top player; he is also one of the best Humans in the game. His ultimate aim remains to win the main award, and as he watched his England teammate lift it, he would be ready to keep working hard for his time.
Saka’s recognition is a testament to his character, and his work off the pitch is as impressive as his performances on it. The Socrates Award is a fitting tribute, and the fans will be proud of him.

A Star On and Off the Pitch
The winger’s generosity and commitment to social causes set him apart, and his influence extends beyond football. Arsenal’s pride in him is clear, and the club will continue to support his efforts.
Saka’s journey is an inspiration, and his recognition is well deserved. The fans will hope he continues to excel both on and off the pitch, and his legacy is secure. The award is a milestone, but his work is far from done.
The Gunners’ star man has shown that he is more than a footballer, and his humanitarian efforts deserve recognition. The Socrates Award is a fitting honour, and the fans will celebrate it. Saka’s impact is undeniable.
