Armenia mentions different timeframes for signing a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, but Baku is ready to complete this process. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov on Monday stated this during a joint press briefing with his visiting Dutch counterpart, Tom Berendsen.
According to the Azerbaijani official, his country is closely following the statements of Armenian officials on this matter.
“Over the past year, Azerbaijan has taken many unilateral steps, and Armenia, like everyone else, could see this,” Bayramov stated.
He noted that certain processes are taking place inside Armenia, and the constitutional change stems from the interests of the Armenian authorities themselves.
“Azerbaijan is always ready to put a final point on the issue of a peace treaty and remains committed to this process,” the Azerbaijani foreign minister concluded.
