From clever skincare technology to relaxing accessories, these five home spa gadgets are worth a look. If you want turn your home into the ultimate spa re-treat, you could pair the gadgets below with these five massage tools.
1. ESPA Wellness Aromatherapy Diffuser

If there's one thing that can instantly make a room feel more relaxing, it's a beautiful fragrance. An aromatherapy diffuser is a lovely way to introduce that spa-like atmosphere into your home, whether you're winding down in the evening or preparing your bedroom for sleep.
The ESPA Wellness Aromatherapy Diffuser not only performs well, but it looks good too and fits well into existing decor. Its ceramic vessel has an understated, elegant finish, making it an attractive addition to a bedside table, bathroom shelf or dressing area. You won’t want to hide this away when it’s not in use, you’ll be happy to have it on display, and that means when you do want to use it it’ll be ready to go at the touch of a button.
It releases a fine fragrance mist and offers continuous and intermittent mist settings, so you can tailor the experience to your space and routine. There's also a dimmable light and a customisable sleep timer, while its whisper-quiet operation is designed to keep things peaceful.
It's those small additions that can help make an ordinary evening feel more like a proper opportunity to relax unwind. I love that it has a soft dimmable light, as this means I’ve been able to use the diffuser as a night light as well. This adds to the peaceful ambience, and for me means that it’s two gadgets in one. The fact it has a timer is another big plus for me as I can put it on as I’m settling down to sleep and don’t have to worry about disrupting my calm to turn it off when I’m ready to sleep.
One thing to know is that the diffuser is designed to be used with water and a few drops of ESPA aromatherapy oil, which is sold separately. That does need to be factored into the overall cost of using the device, but it’s also worth noting that any essential oil of your choice so this makes the diffuser very versatile. Though I would strongly recommend treating yourself to the ESPA aromatherapy oil because it is unique and special does smell like a high-end spa.
2. Botanics Rose Quartz Eye Mask and Organic Nourishing Daily Facial Oil

You don't always need a high-tech gadget to make your at-home spa routine feel special. Pairing a cooling eye mask with a nourishing facial oil is a simple way to give your skincare routine a little extra attention and actually slow down and take proper a moment for yourself.
I'd pair it with the Botanics Rose Quartz Eye Mask for a little extra pampering. Rose quartz beauty accessories have become popular additions to at-home skincare routines, thanks in part to their pretty pink appearance and association with cooling facial rituals, and I am among the fans.
The Botanics Organic Nourishing Daily Facial Oil is formulated with rosehip and argan oils and is designed to moisturise the skin while helping it feel smoother and more supple. It smells amazing. Regular spa-goers, such as myself, will know the smell of rosehip and argan oil and that scent alone will transport you to an expensive salon. The lightweight texture absorbed quickly, and in a few minutes my normal to dry combination skin felt dewy and revived.
Together, these two products have made a lovely pairing for slower Sunday mornings or weekday evenings when I’ve wanted a bit of me-time. All I have to do is apply a few drops of facial oil, gently massage it into my skin, put my eye mask on, lay down and close my eyes. It's a straightforward ritual, but one that encourages me to step away from the usual rush of life.
3. Renpho Artemis LED Light Soft Mask

If your idea of an at-home spa day includes a more advanced skincare treatment, an LED face mask could be worth considering. There’s lots on the market, but I have found my favourite.
The Renpho Artemis LED Light Soft Mask is, in my opinion, one of the most attractive but also one of the easiest to use. It uses red, blue and near-infrared light in different combinations, with the three different modes intended to target concerns such as the appearance of fine lines, uneven-looking skin and blemishes.
The mask features 324 LED diodes, adjustable light intensity and session timers of 10, 20 or 30 minutes. It also has removable eye protection, while the soft silicone design makes it comfortable to wear. My favourite feature by far, however, is that is is portable, and that means I can wear it no matter where I am. I have got into a routine of wearing mine during the evening whie I watch an episode of whatever I’m watching. Sometimes I get cosy, mask on, only to realise I forgot to make a cup of tea but it’s not a problem.
That sounds like a small thing, but it’s not. I had another LED mask previously but I found I barely used it because it had to be plugged into mains for use and I found that lack of freedom and portability too restrictive. But, I use my Renpho Artemis LED Light Soft Mask at least three or four times a week. Of course, it does need power and it charges via an included USB charging cable.
The most important thing though, even above the convenience of using it, is how well it works. I have been using it for about four weeks and I have noticed that my skin looks brighter than before. Of course, LED treatments aren't an instant fix, and consistency matters. Results vary from person to person, so it's important to have realistic expectations and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Glow Plus Makeup Mirror with Bluetooth Speaker

Being able to perform beauty grooming tasks, such as plucking eyebrows or tinting eyelashes, is also important alongside more relaxing experiences, and a good mirror and lighting is key to that.
The Glow Plus Makeup Mirror with Bluetooth Speaker combines several useful features in one stylish accessory, and before I had this I didn’t know just how useful I truly would find it - and how much I would enjoy the addition of music to an everyday beauty accessory.
There's a built-in Bluetooth speaker in the stand of the mirror, used for playing music or podcasts while you get ready. I love that I can take it with me wherever I go, and my music follows me. It is also very functional, thanks to its dimmable ring light with warm and cool lighting options, controlled by touch, so you can adjust the illumination to suit your routine. It’s getting ever more useful as the mornings and evenings get darker.
One of its more practical details, which is the one I like the best, is the removable magnetic 10x magnifying mirror, which I use for close-up tasks that require precision such as shaping my brows or applying eyeliner. The mirror is also easily rechargeable with a provided USB cable, so you’re not tied to a permanent power connection.
I would recommend this as a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys beauty products and accessories but already has plenty of skincare and make-up in their collection. I predict they will be pleasently surprised by this elevated everyday accessory.
Are home spa gadgets worth it?
I love the idea of making everyday self-care feel a little more special, and these five products offer different ways to do just that.
My advice would be to think about what you would genuinely use. A well-chosen addition or two (or three or four) your routine could make self-care feel easier and more enjoyable. Sometimes, gadgets that give you a chance to slow down are more than enough to make an ordinary day feel that little bit more luxurious.
