Here is everything you need to know about episode six of Bake Off as the remaining bakers face Pastry Week.
It is set to be another tricky episode of The Great British Bake Off as the seven remaining bakers take on Pastry Week.
After a disastrous Dessert Week, Yannis was the unlucky baker to exit the competition, while Connie earned Star Baker for the first time. As for what’s in store this evening (Tuesday, October 27), audiences should expect a savoury signature, tricky technical and a decorative showstopper.
Here’s what time Bake Off is on tonight, where you can watch and what the contestants will be baking.
What week is it on Bake Off? Episode 6 theme
It is the sixth episode of Bake Off, which means it’s Pastry Week.
For this week’s signature, the bakers must create hand-held savoury pies. Expect technical challenge trip-ups as the bakers are faced with a choux-based Polish dessert - likely a Karpatka.
Then in the Pastry Week showstopper, the bakers will be pushed to their limits as the judges ask for robust decorative pies, some of which will be novelty shapes, with excellent flaky pastry.
