Optica Africa, the leading optical retail chain, has opened its 81st branch in Syokimau to serve residents of Syokimau, Katani and nearby estates.
The new branch is located at Diamond Biz Centre along Syokimau-Katani Road.
The location offers residents of the quickly growing suburb an opportunity to access eye tests, spectacles and other optical accessories closer to their homes.
"Syokimau and Katani are growing fast. Families, people working on computers, and school children all deserve reliable eye care right where they live," Optica said.
Before the opening of the new branch, the closest Optica outlet to the area was at NextGen Mall near the Southern Bypass interchange.

According to Optica, the new branch operates from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays. The branch remains closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Optica said the expansion would help residents who previously had to travel to Nairobi's Central Business District or further along Mombasa Road to access its services.
"The new store brings modern eye care services directly into the neighbourhood, helping residents save time and transport expenses," the company told Kenyans.co.ke.
Optica said the branch offers free eye tests for life following a one-time registration fee of Ksh100.
Beyond eye tests, the store offers complete spectacles starting at Ksh1,690, with frames starting at Ksh890 and lenses at Ksh800.
According to Optica, the company maintains the same prices across its stores nationwide, meaning customers in Syokimau pay the same rates as those shopping at its Westlands or Central Business District branches.
Optica also offers more than 7,000 frames and sunglasses in-store, backed by a one-year manufacturer's warranty on frames and lenses.
The store has qualified optometrists available to advise customers on options such as blue-light lenses and updated prescriptions.
