The Boston Celtics will play host to the Brooklyn Nets in the second tilt of a brief home stand ahead of a grueling road-heavy month of November this Tuesday (Oct. 27) night at their home arena of TD Garden. There, the Celtics will try to keep their first win streak of the 2026-27 NBA regular season alive after having blown out the Chicago Bulls the night before in what is also their first back-to-back of their current campaign.
Given the state of the Nets heading into this season, we expect a Boston win, but Brooklyn is no longer a ball club comprised of rookie guards and developmental projects. This could be a sneaky trap game should the Celtics elect to mail one in against a Brooklyn squad desperate for a win.
Records, standing, and streaks
At present, the Celtics have a 2-1 record in the midst of the early-season Eastern Conference scrum.
The Nets are the owners of a 0-3 record at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.
Player injuries
For Boston, no report was available with a game the night before.

For Brooklyn, no players of note were listed.
