The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Vikings still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 7 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team and who they may add through the draft in a class many are calling one of generational wealth.
At least they were, until most of the college football season had played out. One of the things that were exposed was that this quarterback class may not be as deep or as talented as we once thought. One of the main quarterbacks in the class was Arch Manning, but his season has raised many questions about whether he will declare.
Speaking over the weekend, The Ringer's Tom Pelissero was on Bill Simmons' Podcast and was asked where he thought Arch would be playing in 2027. His response was, "Ole Miss."
Manning could go to Ole Miss, despite his recruiting coming down to Georgia, Alabama, and Texas, due to the family connection. His grandfather, Archie, and uncle, Eli, both played for the Rebels. Pair that with the fact that they will need a quarterback to replace Trinidad Chambliss, and it could lead to a perfect storm.
