Leon Wankum: The Insane Math Behind Bitcoin Demonetizing Real Estate
Real estate is the largest asset class in the world at $300–500 trillion, and Leon Wankum says Bitcoin won’t just overtake it, it will outgrow it. The real estate operator and author of Digital Real Estate joins Spencer Nichols on the Bitcoin Magazine Podcast to explain why real estate only became money after 1971, why 80–90% of its value is monetary premium rather than utility, and why that premium is migrating to Bitcoin the way information migrated to the internet. He lays out his $1,000 trillion base case, a price path to $1 million by the late 2030s, and why it’s now financially smarter to rent and buy Bitcoin.
