The heartwarming surprise was captured on video as the children unveiled the house they had built for their mother at a rural homestead.
What was meant to be a special family moment quickly turned into an emotional experience as the woman struggled to contain her reaction.
Footage of the surprise shows an SUV pulling up along a dirt road leading to the homestead, with family members walking together towards the property.
The atmosphere builds as they approach the home, apparently preparing to reveal the gift they had kept secret from their mother.
When she finally laid eyes on the new house, the magnitude of the gesture appeared to hit her all at once.
"We surprised my mum with a new home. See her reaction. She almost fainted. And now her life has changed forever. All glory and honour be to God," they wrote.
The message suggested that the new home was more than just a building; it represented a fresh chapter for their mother and a deeply personal expression of appreciation from the children.
For many families, building or buying a parent a home is a dream that requires years of planning, financial discipline and sacrifice.
It is also a powerful way of giving back to the people who raised them, particularly in communities where providing a parent with a comfortable home carries deep emotional and cultural significance.
Although the family did not share details about how long the project took or the cost of the house, the footage captured the moment their efforts culminated in a surprise their mother was unlikely to forget.
The children's gesture has offered a moving reminder that some of life's most meaningful gifts are not measured by their price but by what they represent.
For this mother, the unveiling of her new home was a moment of unexpected joy.
For her children, it was an opportunity to change her life and create a family memory they could cherish for years to come.
Boy Collapses as Mum Surprises Him at School
In another emotional story, an 11-year-old boy who hadn't seen his mother for four years was unable to contain his joy when she made a surprise return.
Instead of simply running into her arms, the boy collapsed, his body overwhelmed by an emotion too large to contain.
His mother, worried that the youngster had lost consciousness, ran over and helped him back to his feet.
