A sophomore from Macon, Mis., Taylor helped lead the Bulldogs start 4-0 and even reach as high as No. 16 in the top 25 of the AP poll. Through six games, he has thrown for a total of 1,460 yards, 17 touchdowns and thrown only four interceptions.
Taylor was also a favorite to win the coveted Heisman Trophy after Mississippi State beat Missouri. At the time, Bet MGM had Taylor at +600 to win the trophy and Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss dropped to +1100.
