Air Link Communication Limited will launch its electric bike brand, Air EV, on November 4, 2026, with deliveries expected to begin about a week later as the company expands into Pakistan’s electric mobility market.
The company shared the plan during its annual general meeting, according to a report published by Arif Habib Limited on Tuesday.
Airlink plans to initially source electric bikes from international partners offering competitive prices before gradually shifting toward local assembly and manufacturing. The bikes will feature replaceable lithium-ion batteries.
The company also plans to increase local manufacturing over time, targeting up to 95% localization. It will initially procure lithium-ion batteries locally as part of its localization strategy.
The move marks Airlink’s expansion beyond its core mobile phone business as it explores new growth opportunities in Pakistan’s electric two-wheeler market.
